1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Roamite. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Services

Roamite is a technology platform that connects travelers (“Tourists”) with local guides and companions (“Companions”) for social companionship services. All services facilitated through the Platform are strictly platonic in nature. Roamite does not provide travel agency services, employment, or any form of intimate or sexual companionship.

3. User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register on the Platform.
• You must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for identity verification purposes.
• Each individual may maintain only one account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and keep your account details up to date.

4. Companion Obligations

• Maintain professional conduct at all times during bookings and interactions with Tourists.
• Arrive on time for all confirmed bookings and provide the services as described in your profile.
• Never offer, solicit, or provide sexual services of any kind. Violations will result in immediate and permanent account termination.
• Process all payments exclusively through the Platform. Accepting off-platform payments is strictly prohibited.
• Maintain accurate and honest profile information, including qualifications, languages, and experience.

5. Tourist Obligations

• Treat all Companions with respect and dignity throughout the duration of your booking.
• Do not make inappropriate, sexual, or offensive requests to Companions. Such behavior will result in immediate account suspension.
• Process all payments exclusively through the Platform. Off-platform payment arrangements are strictly prohibited.
• Provide accurate booking details including dates, times, and meeting locations.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform. Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement:

• Sexual services — Offering, soliciting, or engaging in sexual services of any nature is absolutely prohibited.
• Off-platform payments — Arranging, accepting, or soliciting payments outside the Platform is prohibited.
• Harassment — Any form of harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive behavior toward other users is prohibited.
• Fake profiles — Creating fraudulent profiles, using stolen identities, or misrepresenting yourself is prohibited.
• Illegal activities — Using the Platform to facilitate any illegal activity is prohibited.

7. Payment Terms

• Roamite charges a 20% platform commission on all bookings. The remaining 80% is paid out to the Companion.
• Companion payouts are processed every Monday for the previous week's completed bookings.
• Tourists may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• All payments are processed through our secure payment partner. Roamite does not store credit card or banking details directly.

8. Safety & Liability

Roamite is a technology platform that facilitates connections between Tourists and Companions. We are not a party to the interactions between users and do not assume liability for the conduct of any user.

• The Platform provides an SOS button and safety features to help users in emergency situations.
• Users are encouraged to report any safety concerns, suspicious behavior, or Terms violations immediately through the Platform's reporting tools.
• Roamite reserves the right to investigate reports, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement as necessary.
• Users acknowledge that they engage in meetups at their own risk and are responsible for their personal safety.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
